Ventilation

Over the last 30 years, new build homes and apartments have become more energy efficient with air-tight materials and technology. This is fantastic for energy bills but means that indoor air can suffer as traditional forms of ventilation struggle to keep the quality sufficient. Long term exposure to moist, polluted, stale air is likely to have negative implications to both health and home. In light of COVID-19, air quality has never been so relevant.

MVHR and MEV are developed ventilation technologies, designed to combat poor indoor air quality for new-builds. They are both mechanical forms of ventilation that provide continuous extraction of stale air. MVHR also provides fresh, filtered air into a property. No other ventilation methods are as reliable for ensuring great air quality in new-build homes.

The Benefits of Mechanical Ventilation

With this simple technology, we can offer you a variety of benefits. From a healthier indoor environment with a constant supply of fresh filtered air, to a reduction in their carbon footprint some of the benefits of MVHR are as follows:

Purges pollutants

We welcome so many pollutants into our homes, often without realising. Paints, furnishings and cleaning products all contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that linger inside four walls. You can help you cleanse your environments with our MVHR and the continuous fresh air it circulates.

Reduces Allergies & Asthma

All the incoming fresh air is filtered. This not only helps those with allergies but can also reduce the symptoms of respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, rhinitis, hay fever and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Security

Our MVHR gives you added peace of mind when you’re not in your property. As fresh air is circulated continuously, there’s no need for you to open windows to ventilate the property - maximizing security and reducing noise pollution.

Cuts condensation

Condensation can cause havoc in your home, it can lead to damp and mould damage. With an MVHR system in their property air quality is instantly improved, moisture is managed and you can stop condensation completely.

Saves your clients' energy

MVHR has an immediate impact on the Dwelling Emission Rate required for the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) used to assess energy. It reuses and recovers up to 95% of wasted heat within a property and dramatically reduces your carbon footprint. All our MVHR systems are either SAP Appendix Q accredited or Passive House approved.

Obliterates Odours

With its continuous flow of fresh air in the home, the MVHR system will rapidly reduce those daily odours caused by food, footwear and furry animals.
